#14 | Phil Hellmuth’s 1994 win at the Four Queens

Win #14 for Phil! Believe it or not, we’re not talking about Phil Hellmuth‘s record-continuing 14th bracelet victory this summer at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas but his 14th win on the live tournament circuit, which happened in this day in 1994.
Hellmuth won a preliminary event at the Queens Poker Classic in Las Vegas, defeating a legendary final table which would eventually include a pair of fellow Hall of Famers in Mike Sexton and Tom McCormick and a future WPT Player of the Year in Howard Lederer – not a bad Final Four!
The Poker Brat has gone on to win 40 more times on the circuit … 54 career victories? Remarkable!
