Planning on winning the World Series of Poker Main Event in 2016? If you’re in your thirties or older, you may not event have a shot!

ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted the following soon after Joseph Mckeehen became the 46th World Series of Poker Main Event Champion on Tuesday night:

That’s right, 23.3 – the average age of the past 8 WSOP Main Event Champions! At this rate, if you’re 24, you may already be over the hill in poker
