If all these multiple day 1, multiple venue, guaranteed tournaments are just not your thing, then perhaps you should be heading to London over the Easter Weekend for the APAT’s World Championship Of Amateur Poker.  Sixteen events, spanning seven days will see the sixth season of this ever popular event amongst recreational and amateur players in the UK.  No guarantees, and caps on the number of runners, mean that seats can sometimes be at a premium, but with WCOAP bracelets, APAT medals and added value seats courtesy of Coral Poker up for grabs, this really will be a festival of poker at a very affordable buyin.  Along with the usual deepstacked two day main event, players can play a range of side events including Stud, PLO, Razz, HORSE, PLO8 and NLHE Shootout.  The Aspers Casino in Stratford is hosting the event for the week.  Head over to the APAT Forum for the latest news on availability and tournament information.

And breath.  Not a bad few weeks if you ask us.  Oh, and we nearly forgot.  Whilst all this is going on, the Winamax Series continues online, and the latest iPops series starts on the iPoker network.  The live poker doesn’t stop though, as the following weeks see the GUKPT hit Brighton, and then there’s the little matter of a £1,000,000 guaranteed main event in Nottingham, when the UKIPT arrives at Dusk Till Dawn.  But we’ll save those for another time.

Play nicely at the tables.
