Caesars Releases Complete 2017 WSOPE Rozvadov Schedule

The World Series of Poker Europe is heading to King’s Casino in Rozvadov from Oct. 19 to Nov. 10, 2017.

Caesars released the official dates for the first WSOPE event to ever take place in the Czech Republic earlier today.

WSOPE Rozvadov will offer 11 WSOP gold bracelets and more than €20 million in guarantees with buy-ins varying from €111k for a One Drop event all the way down to just €550.

Taking Vegas to Rozvadov

The fact the WSOPE is headed to the Czech Republic can be traced back to one man: King’s Casino Rozvadov founder Leon Tsoukernik.

Tsoukernik’s massive card room has attracted some of the biggest poker tours in the world but this is the first WSOP bracelets will be awarded at the venue.

“I’m so proud that that the WSOP Europe is coming to King’s,” said Tsoukernik.

“I started off with a dream and my dream has come true and I hope poker players have their dreams come true too when they see the sheer size and facilities of King’s.

“With the awarding of WSOP gold bracelets, we have brought a huge piece of Las Vegas to Europe and we aim to deliver Vegas standards with this event too.”

The schedule itself is a diverse one with two prestigious high roller events — a €25k buy-in tournament and the massive €111k Big One for One Drop — but there will also be something for small-time grinders with several €550 buy-in events including a Colossus-style tournament.

The flagship event — the €10,000 Main Event — will take place Nov. 4-10. No-Limit Hold’em, PLO and Omaha-8 are all on the docket.

The WSOP has a three-year contract with King’s Casino so the 2017 WSOPE will be the first of many more events to come at the Casino.

The WSOP’s journey into Rozvadov will actually begin with Circuit stop on Sept. 28. In total there will be 84 different events over 44 consecutive days of action.
