Win a $12,500 WSOP Package for Just $2 w/ 888poker BLAST!

Win a $12,500 WSOP Package for Just $2 w/ 888poker BLAST!

The World Series of Poker is careening towards the back half and that means the Main Event is drawing closer every day.

Have you tried to qualify for it yet?

If you haven’t, this is the last weekend you can still win a $12,500 WSOP Main Event prize package only on 888poker. And you can now do it for just $2.

Last Chance to Qualify!

There’s only one platform that can give you the chance to play the Main without paying $10,000 out of your pocket – 888poker. 888poker has several different ways to qualify, two of which are still in operation.

2 dollar blast main event prize

1) $12,500 package for $2!

Go to the BLAST section of the 888poker lobby and select the $2 buy-in level. If you hit the jackpot, you’ll be playing for a full $12,500 WSOP main event package!

This means one 6-minute tournament at a 4-max table with a trip to the World Series and a possible life changer on the line. This is the one WSOP promotion you can’t afford to miss.

This offer expires this weekend so hurry up and hit the BLAST tables! The $2 for $12,500 BLAST tables will stop running at 3 PM CET on Sunday, June 25.

2) The Steps System

Every Steps tournament on 888poker can satellite you into the next level. You can enter at any of these buy-in levels – 1c/10c/$1/$5/$30/$160 and $1,050, which is the actual direct qualifier for the main event package.

The $12,500 WSOP packages awarded in the direct qualifiers includes luxury accommodation, expenses, parties and, of course, the WSOP Main Event buy-in.

The final 2017 WSOP $1,050 direct satellite runs on Sunday, June 25, at 10.30 PM CET. Lower-level satellites run round the clock until then so check the lobby for the one you want to enter.

Main Event Begins July 8

This year the tournament everybody wants to play starts on July 8. There will be three Day 1s and two Day 2s and you’ll be playing five levels per day to start with – as long as you last. Specs:

Qui NGuyen HU 2

You know you want this.

Buy-in: $10,000
Starting stack: 50,000 chips
1st blind level: 75/150
Level time: 120 min

Last year Qui Nguyen lasted the longest and turned his buy-in into $8 million in early November. However, you won’t have to wait that long this summer as the November Nine concept has been scrapped and the tournament will play all the way to the end in July.

If at the end of July 16 you’re still in the tournament, it means you have played seven days straight and made the final table – the one table every player wants to sit at.

Instead of a three month hiatus this year the main event will only see a three-day break so the players can get their rails together and TV gets some time to build a buzz. ESPN will broadcast the whole final table live on national television.

Does this sound like a poker event you’d like to visit? We thought so. If you don’t have an 888poker account yet, it only takes a couple of minutes. Go to the 888poker review page and access our exclusive $888 sign-up bonus.

Join Kassouf, Benger in Battle as Part of 888 WSOP 8-Team

Join Kassouf, Benger in Battle as Part of 888 WSOP 8-Team

Do you want to represent your country and get guidance from a talented Team Captain and his/her wingman in the 2017 WSOP Main Event?

In the latest 888poker WSOP promotion – the ‘8-Team’ – you can do exactly that and be a part of an elite 3-player national team.

You better do it quick though – this is the last week where you can qualify for the Main Event on 888poker and for your spot in one of the teams.

What are the ‘8-Teams?’

The 8-Teams are five teams of three players each that will represent their respective countries at the WSOP Main Event. The teams consist of a captain, a wingman and an online qualifier – which could be you!

Moorman official winner photo

Moorman hot off his first bracelet.

The 5 countries represented are Germany, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain and Sweden, each headed by their 888poker ambassador team captains:

Dominik Nitsche – Germany
Bruno Politano – Brazil
Parker Talbot – Canada
Chris Moorman – Great Britain
Sofia Lövgren – Sweden

How Do I Get Picked?

To join the Team Captain in battle you’ll need to first qualify for the Main Event on 888poker and be from one of the five countries represented by the 8-teams.

You can play your way up through the 888 steps tournaments or take a shot at the $10 BLAST Sit-and-Gos where random WSOP Main Event prize packages will be awarded to winners.

The prize package is worth $12,500 and includes 4* accommodation and travel expenses in addition to the Main Event buy-in.

The last WSOP satellites on 888poker are also running this weekend. The last direct qualifier is next Sunday at 10.30 PM CET.

When all the satellites are over 888poker will determine the five players who’ll join the 8-Teams and go on the trip of their lifetimes. The names of the winners will be announced within the next eight days.

Who are the Wingmen?

In addition to the Team Captains there will be five wingmen that’ll play the main event but also will serve as advisors to the online qualifiers.

Jacobsonwin2

Also a bracelet winner.

The wingmen were determined on Monday and now officially announced. They are:

Former football stars Mario Basler and Denilson
WSOP nemeses Griffin Benger and Will Kassouf
Poker world champion Martin Jacobson

Let’s take a quick look at the wingmen that’ll be there to support the online qualifiers.

Team Germany – Mario Basler

Basler recently had strong performances at the 888 events in Rozvadov and Barcelona. During his football career he played for Bayern Munich and collected 30 caps for the national team between 1994 and 1998. He was part of the team that won the Euro 1996 in England.

Team Brazil – Denilson

There are many superlatives when it comes to Brazilian football. Denilson was one of the players in what has often been called the best team there ever was – the Brazilian national team of the early 2000s. It doesn’t get any better than this. He also was the most expensive football player worldwide at the time.

Griffin Benger

Ready for more.

Team Canada – Griffin Benger

One of two teams featuring a November Niner as wingman. Benger used to be a legend in Counter Strike before he moved to poker. Benger made the Main Event final table last year, eliminating Will Kassouf along the way, and won the Irish Open in March.

Team Great Britain – Will Kassouf

Will Kassouf transgresses the line between famous and infamous. He’ll drive you crazy at the table, but is a great guy away from it. He became famous during his deep Main Event run last year but has been around international festivals for years and shown good results.

Team Sweden – Martin Jacobson

If you have a November Niner as a wingman in your team, that’s luxury. If you have a former champion as a wingman, that’s decadence. Martin Jacobson, ladies and gentlemen, winner of the WSOP main event 2014, will be your advisor if you manage to get the spot in the Swedish team.

Unlock $1 Million in Riches in 888poker’s Golden Pyramid

Unlock $1 Million in Riches in 888poker’s Golden Pyramid

Spin the wheel and then spin it up. Climb the 888poker Pyramid and win every day.

There’s $1 million up for grabs with no deposit needed and no sign-ups.

While satellites for the WSOP Main Event and Crazy Eights packages are still running (hurry up though, there aren’t too many left) the next huge promotion at 888poker has already begun.

Log In and Win

This is the top promotion this spring as you don’t have any requirements to meet. You don’t have to collect any points, you don’t have to make a deposit — you don’t have to do anything.

Just log in to your 888poker account and you’ll get a pop-up asking you to spin the “Wheel of Ra.”

wheel of ra

Spin the wheel, win a ticket.

This wheel has eight segments and none of them says “oh, too bad, buddy.” There’s a prize attached to every single segment. Basically, you can’t escape winning.

Wheel of Prizes!

When you spin the wheel you’re win a ticket to one of the following tournaments:

$500 Pharaoh’s Tournament (runs four times a day)

$2,000 Sphinx Tournament (runs twice a day)

$4,000 Tutankhamun Tournament (runs once every day)

$10,000 Ramses Tournament (runs once every week)

You can also win tickets for $1 BLAST tournaments and money for Casino games and sports bets.

Climb the Pyramid

There are two segments in the “Wheel of Ra” that give one or two tickets to the Pharaoh’s tournaments.

Every other prize has one segment so your chance of winning a ticket for the $10k Ramses tournament is the same as for a $1 BLAST ticket.

But there’s also another way to play for $10k every week. The top 3,000 players in every level – Pharaoh, Sphinx and Tutankhamun – get a ticket to the next level tournament.

sphinx coin2

Watch for Cleopatra’s gold.

It’s the easiest way you’ll find this year to make some money for free. And you can spin the “Wheel of Ra” every day!

Cleopatra’s Mystery Money

Across the week the glorious empress Cleopatra will chime in now and again. Three times per week she’ll secretly sneak in a pot of her gold and share it with the populace.

The top 100 players of each tournament the empress visits will get a piece of 600,000 gold tokens. The three tournaments per week will be from three different levels to maximize your chances.

Watch out for the golden coin. When Cleopatra has chosen the tourney you’re playing in, you’ll see your table marked with that coin.

Win More Tickets, Play More Tournaments

If you want to make the most of this promotion, play as many tournaments as possible.

Golden Pyramid steps2

Climb the steps, win big.

In addition to spinning the “Wheel of Ra” you can win more tickets for any of the tournaments by completing some fairly easy challenges.

Win $1 BLAST tournaments – Win 1 to get a Pharaoh ticket, 4 for the Sphinx, 8 for the Tutankhamun tournaments

Win SNAP cash game hands – 10, 40, 80 hands

Bet $1 on casino games – 5 times, 10 times, 30 times

Place sports bets – for $1, $5, $10

You can win one ticket per challenge and up to 4 tickets per day. To enter your challenges click on the My Profile tab and then on My Poker club.

There you’ll find all the challenges you can take on and the progress you’ve made in each of them.

This promotion is running already and doesn’t end until July 30. To play, you need an active 888poker account.

If you don’t have an account yet click through to our 888poker review page and we’ll help you get started in minutes.

Alien_Army Closes Out Biggest XL Inferno Ever for $291k

Alien_Army Closes Out Biggest XL Inferno Ever for $291k

With a prize pool of $1,755,000, the $1,050 main event of the XL Inferno series was the most valuable tournament ever to take place on 888poker.

1,319 players and 436 re-entries made sure that the original $1.5m guarantee was easily crushed and Alien_Army secured the lion’s share of it.

After a heads-up deal between him and stevachenko7, the Austria-based player went on to signature title of the Inferno series and just shy of $300k.

Big Names Bow Out

It took 13.5 hours until the winner was found and there were a lot of big name casualties along the way.

Doug Polk2

Near-miss for Polk.

Streaming phenomenon Doug Polk made the money and reached the final three tables before his luck ran out and he lost a chunk of his stack with A-K vs A-J.

He lost the rest of his stack by means of a coin flip and finished in 27th place. Steven van Zadelhoff came 42nd and Rob Tinnion finished 87th

In the last hand of the tournament Alien_Army managed to outrun stevachenko7’s K-K with Q-4, hitting a four on the flop and the turn.

Join the 888poker “8-Team” for a Run at the 2017 WSOP

In 888poker’s latest promotion, five teams are being built to conquer poker’s main stage in Las Vegas this summer.

Each team will have a captain, a wing man and an online qualifier.

That qualifier could be you.

And if you make the cut you can rely on getting the best assistance possible for your journey through the most important poker tournament in the world.

Help on Your $10m Quest

As the exclusive online qualifier for the WSOP main event, if you plan on winning your way to the game’s marquee event you need to do so on 888poker.

dominik nitsche 888 barcelona may 2017 2 1

Dom Nitsche: Man with good WSOP advice.

888poker also recently promised to top up this year’s WSOP main event champion’s check to $10m if he or she qualified online on 888.

If that’s not enough incentive for you, now 888 is enlisting some big-name help to assist you in its new “8-Team” promotion.

Teams will represent five countries – Brazil, Canada, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The captains heading the teams are, correspondingly, former November Niner Bruno Politano for Brazil, 888’s Twitch star Parker Talbot for Canada, triple bracelet winner Dominik Nitsche for Germany, longtime 888 pro Sofia Lövgren for Sweden and online poker’s all-time beast Chris Moorman for the United Kingdom.

Kassouf First Wingman

The wingmen will be the right hands of the team captains and one name already announced is Will “9-high like a boss” Kassouf, who will provide some extra advice on how to rob your opponents of both their chips and their cool.

The other four wingmen will be announced in the coming days or weeks and not all of them will be professional players.

William Kassouf Elimination 2016 Main Event 2

Kassouf: Knows how to get deep in the Main.

To snatch a spot on one of the teams you have to qualify online for a main event package. Online qualifiers who get a spot on the team of their home country will be revealed on June 28.

The one who does best in this year’s Main Event will also get a ticket, hotel and travel costs for the next year’s Main Event courtesy of 888poker.

Qualify Now!

Every Sunday and Thursday on 888poker there’s a direct qualifier for the WSOP main event package.

These are $1,050 buy-in satellites but you can play in them for a lot less than that. For a seat in the $1,050 satellite you can navigate through up to six stages of satellites. Join at any buy-in level that feels comfortable for you.

The levels are 1c/10c/$1/$5/$30/$160. The higher you start, the fewer levels you have to survive. You’ll find the satellites under the All games > Tournaments > Live Events tab.

If you haven’t started playing on 888poker yet, click through to our review page and create your own account in just a few minutes. You’ll also be eligible for an exclusive $888 sign-up bonus.

888poker Blast Gets Even Faster with 2-Minute Tournaments

888poker Blast Gets Even Faster with 2-Minute Tournaments

If you play the hyper-turbo Blast poker games on 888, you know they’re already pretty fast.

Get ready to go even faster.

888poker has now introduced some new features to its fastest-paced NLHE game – and now they’re even faster.

They also give you the chance to win $1k tournament tickets or play for a $1,000,000 prize pool.

From 12 Minutes to 2 Minutes

Blast has proven to be a very successful addition on 888poker and it’s about to get even more popular.

blast poker lobby

Got 2 mins? You can get a Blast in.

If you don’t know Blast Poker yet, these are 888poker’s 4-max hyper-turbo Sit-and-Go tournaments.

Play starts whenever 4 players buy-in and the timer begins. Once that 12-minute timer runs out, everyone left in the tournament is all in every hand until a winner is found.

Get a full run down on all the different variations and buy-in levels for Blast Poker here.

Now there’s an even faster version of Blast where time runs out in just two minutes. The games are available for as little as 10 cents and the buy-ins reach all the way up to $30.

In addition to the new 2-minute time limit, there’s now a special $100 buy-in Blast option.

These $100 tournaments have the same maximum prize-pool multiplier as the lower buy-in ones which means that if you hit the jackpot you’ll be playing for a cool million dollars.

If you happen to hit the $1m jackpot tournament, nobody loses. Even if you get sucked-out on in the first hand 888poker will add $100,000 to your bankroll; win it and you’ll be $600,000 richer.

No Poker #Buzzkills: 888poker Aims to Take Back the Game

Over the last couple of years 888poker has steadily moved up in player traffic and is now the second largest online poker site in the world.

The primary reason for that success? Supporting and motivating recreational players.

888poker did it by inventing new, low- and mid-stakes buy-in Live series like 888Live and 888Live Local.

They also revamped their online poker tournament offerings and expanded  their showcase online tournament series – the XL series.

Now, they’re taking it one step further – “Taking Back the Game,” if you will – with a new campaign illustrating just how they solve the issues recreational players face today.

The End of Buzzkills

Online poker players want to be valued as good customers and they don’t always feel they are.

affordit

Don’t be on the outside looking in.

To illustrate how much they care about that very issue, 888poker has begun a new video ad campaign you can preview below.

The focus is on “buzzkills” — aka the big issues recreational players say erode their online poker experience. Those issues:

Getting stuck in games with players not on same skill level
Waiting forever for stalling players to act
Missing out on big bonuses other players get
Not having the bankroll to experience some of the biggest live events in the world

Over the course of the coming months 888poker will introduce even more projects and initiatives for the benefit of all players – from the beginner to the pro.

A special focus will be on new players so if you don’t have an account at 888poker yet, head to our review page to get started with an $888 bonus.

Qualifying Satellites from 1 Cent

If you watched the last clip you likely noticed 888’s emphasis on giving every player the chance to take in the pro poker experience for a fraction of the cost.

888lobby

Check the lobby.

If you check out the 888poker lobby you see lots of satellites running all day round and the steps system – which starts at the aforementioned 1 penny – give you the chance to qualify for pretty much any live event you want to play.

Including the biggest one of all, too. 888poker is back as the main sponsor of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and it’s the only online poker site to offer satellites for the main event.

You can also win a package for 888’s very own branded WSOP event called the ‘Crazy Eights,’ with an $888 buy-in and $888,888 first-place prize.

888poker also gives back to its players via a comprehensive loyalty program where players who put in high volume can choose from a wide range of items rom Ray Ban and Armani sunglasses to watches, jewellery, sports and electronic equipment.

Drones, Macbooks and complete Sony Home Cinema systems are on offer, for example. And even if you only play now and again you can still collect enough points – or gold tokens – to exchange for tickets for additional tournaments and cash bonuses.

Karamalikis Wins Whale, Talbot Bubbles on 888poker Weekend

Karamalikis Wins Whale, Talbot Bubbles on 888poker Weekend

Spring has come but the online tables were still buzzing over the weekend on 888poker.

The ongoing 2017 WSOP satellites were stacked with entrants and so were the Sunday Majors.

Australian pro Jonathan Karamalikis took home the biggest prize on 888poker this weekend as he swept to a win in the $600 buy-in Whale.

888poker pro Parker Talbot, meanwhile, just missed qualifying for the WSOP while fellow pro Chris Moorman won The Monsoon for the secont time in 2 months.

Whale Rider Jonathan Karamalikis

Australian poker pro Jonathan monster_dong Karamalikis took home the largest prize of the weekend after winning the $600 buy-in Whale.

Jonathan Karamalikis

+$26k

Karamalikis, who already has over $2.5 million in live and over $600k in online winnings, got the best of the 215 players in the tournament and added over $26k to his bankroll.

It was quite a good weekend for monster_dong overall as he also cashed in the $80k guaranteed Sunday Challenge and the $40k guaranteed Turbo Mega Deep.

888poker ambassador Dominik Nitsche also made a deep run in the event but busted just three spots off the money. It wasn’t the German’s best weekend as he couldn’t cash in the Crocodile or in both Mega Deeps, either.

The second largest winner’s check went to jareth3542 from Britain, who triumphed in the 647-player, $120k guaranteed Mega Deep and turned his $600 buy-in into $24,400.

Talbot Misses, Moorman cruises

As the exclusive online provider of World Series of Poker satellites, if you want to get to Vegas on the cheap your path has to run through 888poker.

As you might expect, then, the poker players out angling for a $12k package via 888 satellite are plentiful.

That includes the pros themselves, including newly signed Parker 888tonkaaaaP Talbot.

chris moorman 888 high roller 2

2x in 2 months.

He played a $1k direct satellite to the WSOP main event – and bubbled. 39 players played for four tickets and Talbot finished 5th.

Chris Moorman didn’t pay a visit to the tables on the weekend as he was busy playing in the 888poker Easter Edition live event at the Aspers Casino in London, where he was joined by Talbot and Sofia Lövgren.

However, Moorman did fire up The Monsoon last Thursday and – you guessed it – went all the way. We’ve lost count as to how many tournaments he’s won but this one turned $55 into $3.3k.

It was the second time Moorman has won The Monsoon in two months.

Watch Your Weiner-Bacon

Pimmelspeck from Germany, whose name roughly translates as Weiner-bacon (you decide if that’s funny), made the final table of The Whale for $10.6k.

He’s already made more than $20k on 888poker this year. Do you know who Pimmelspeck is? Drop us a line in the comments. We’ll try to find out in Las Vegas this summer.

XL inferno eclipse blizzard

The Inferno is coming.

As he’s already secured himself a ticket for the ME on 888poker he’s bound to be there, too.

Further up on the salary scale DrMikee from Uruguay is cruising at around $100k profit this year. DrMikee started out with three Top 4 finishes in the XL series back in January – good for $100k in winnings – and hasn’t had any real drawbacks since.

Last week he came close to the big money again, finishing 20th in The Whale. He also played 13 $500 heads-ups on Friday, winning eight of them for a quick profit of $1,500.

Watch out for DrMikee during the $7.5m XL Inferno; he’s bound to go deep again.

197 Events Beginning May 7

The XL Inferno kicks off on May 7. It’s the largest tournament series on 888poker yet and satellites are running 24/7.

This incredible 197-tournament series has events for every taste, bankroll and playing style imaginable.

Champion of Champions is Back

After the success of the last XL series’ Champion of Champions event, 888poker has decided to make that one bigger, too.

This time every winner of an event will play in this invitational and the top three of the CoC will win a 2017 Las Vegas WSOP package including hotel, tournament buy-ins and travel costs.

The winner will get a WSOP Main Event package. Second and third will get 888 Crazy Eights packages. The rest of the top 40 will get online tournament tickets.

XL inferno eclipse blizzard

Deposit and You Shall Receive

Every player that deposits into their 888poker account will receive three tickets to satellites for the XL Inferno main event.

These satellites will be for ticket holders only so there won’t be gigantic fields.

There are also special satellites running for the Opening Event and there are different buy-in levels for you to start with – even freerolls.

Blizzard, Eclipse Incoming

Along with the XL revamp 888poker will introduce two further XL series for 2017 and 2018. In September the new XL Eclipse Championships will arrive and in January 2018 it’ll be followed up by the XL Blizzard. Both will run for 14 days and have $1.5m guaranteed main events.

Kara Scott talks XL and Cate Hall

In the latest edition of the 888Poker Brief Kara Scott gives you some extra information about the XL Inferno series and talks to Cate Hall after her victory over Mike Dentale in the Grudge Match of the year. Watch the video below.

Nitsche Twitches His Way to Sunday Major Win on 888poker

Nitsche Twitches His Way to Sunday Major Win on 888poker

Poker pros love to play the Sunday majors and poker rooms love it if their team pros win.

888poker and Dominik Nitsche are likely all smiles today, then, as Nitsche took down yet another major online prize for him and Team 888 yesterday.

The German team pro took down The Octopus, beating 110 players along the way and streaming it live on Twitch with commentary as an added bonus.

Nitsche Wrestles Octopus

If you’re looking for a Team pro to to bag a big Sunday tournament, Dominik Nitsche is one of your safest bets.

dominik nitsche 2

Dom does it.

This past Sunday night, after a little more than nine hours of play, Nitsche won the last hand of the $215 buy-in tournament.

He cashed $7,742 for his win — not the biggest score of his career, sure, but a nice one to take down while live streaming on Twitch.

As it played out the final three battled it out for a while three-handed before two implosions gave Nitsche the title in three hands.

First, one of his opponents ran an ill-timed bluff against Nitsche’s full house.

In the next hand the other opponent made a bad call. And in the first hand heads-up, Nitsche just got lucky.

Runners-up Bumbi320 and OO6007 still took home nice circa $5k scores themselves. Watch the full Octopus final table complete with Nitsche’s usual on-point commentary below:

B_thebenlar Big Winner Again

Just last month Canadian player B_thebenlar prevailed in the Baby Whale on 888poker. This past weekend he went on to win the $120,000 guaranteed Mega Deep.

super whale

Get in on it next Sunday.

In a field of 667 players it took the Canadian 13.5 hours to collect all the chips and earn the biggest prize of the 888poker weekend.

B_thebenlar won just over $25,000 beating out thulionho from Brazil and OO6007, also from Canada, as the final resistance.

The second largest winning check of the weekend went to MisterN411 from the Netherlands who had almost $20k transferred to his 888poker account.

Germany and the Netherlands celebrated two more wins in 888poker’s Sunday major events.

luckyr1ver conquered The Crocodile to cash in for $11,801 while Dutch player Graftekkel proceeded to win the Sunday Challenge after he made a deal with his heads-up opponent YordanPetrov.

Graftekkel had the smaller stack at the time so the players ended up with $14,318 for YordanPatrov and $13,185 for the eventual winner from the Netherlands.

it’s also become the main sponsor of the World Series of Poker and the only place you can qualify for it online.

In short: On 888poker you can qualify for very little money to play in some of the best and coolest tournaments in Europe – and the one everybody wants to play in in Las Vegas.

Bright lights, big poker.

Since then the poker area has been buzzing with permanent cash game action. But there are also regular tournament events.

The popular 888Live series is back at the Aspers for its Easter edition — a £440/$550 NLHE tournament from April 13-16.

There will be two or three starting days so you can just walk in and buy yourself into the tournament, or you can try to win a seat online

A direct 888Live London direct satellite runs Thursday evenings at 8.35 PM CET and costs $12 to play. There are unlimited rebuys allowed plus a single add-on.

You can go even cheaper and qualify for this satellite through a sub-satellite. The sub-satellite is only 10 cents to play and also offers unlimited rebuys and one add-on for 10 cents each.

“Make it Big” in Barcelona

The “Make it Big” Live series is the latest addition to 888poker’s array of live events.

There have been two editions so far. One of them happened at the Aspers in London where, among others, Antonio Esfandiari, Michael Mizrachi and Melanie Weisner showed up.

Cash Game Area Barcelona

Hard to beat Barca.

The second took place at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov and both Niall Farrell and Ludovic Geilich made it to the final table.

Now the series will hit another top poker destination in Europe – the Gran Casino in Barcelona.

“Make it Big” Barcelona is a series of events across 11 days from May 11-22 with €700,000 guaranteed.

You can qualify online for both the Opening event – a €220 NLHE tournament with €100k guaranteed – and the Main Event, a €550 NLHE tournament with €500,000 guaranteed.

The Opening event will be played on May 11-14 while the main event goes May 18-22.

Qualification for the Opening event is the same as for London; see above. To play in the Main Event you have to make your way through the $30 direct satellite. This tournament has unlimited rebuys and offers one add-on at the end of the rebuy phase.

Crazy Eights or WSOP Main Event

888poker is the main sponsor of the WSOP and the only poker room where you can qualify for the Main Event. You can also qualify for the $888 Crazy Eights event, 888poker’s own branded event.

Tommy Yates 2

if Tommy can, you can.

You can make your way through the steps system (starting at 1 cent) until you reach the direct qualifiers or you can buy into these directly.

The direct satellite for the 2017 WSOP Main Event is a $1,050 buy-in tournament that offers three re-entries. The winners will get the big $12,500 prize package including Main Event buy-in, hotel and travel expenses.

You can qualify for the direct satellite through the $160 sub-satellites, which again you can reach by playing the steps tournaments.

The Crazy Eights package is worth $3,000 and has the tournament ticket, three nights at the Rio and $1,200 travel expenses in it. The direct satellite costs $160 to play.

You can find all the qualifiers under the All games > Tournaments > Live Events tab.
