The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is the freshmaker of the mid-afternoon poker news world much like a certain mint that was popular in the ‘90s.
You can always make suggestions for future 3-Bet pieces in the comments section below.
In today’s Daily 3-Bet we’ll take a look at Poker Shares offering $1m in an upcoming tournament, a new Leo Margets book and the new-look PartyPoker Live.
1) Win $1m on Poker Shares
“Shit is getting real on Poker Shares.”
That’s what Mike McDonald had to say on Twitter about Poker Shares’ betting line for the upcoming 11th anniversary Sunday Million on April 2. He’s not wrong.
The gist is that you buy 100% of a player and you could potentially win $1m.
That’s thanks to the massive $10m guarantee by PokerStars with $1m set aside specifically for the winner.
So far online MTT masters DaGoddfather, €urop€an and oxyfean are already listed but you can request individual players.
Seems like a massive risk for Poker Shares but we talked to McDonald at PSC Panama and he said the site has already had $1m on the line so it’s nothing new.
Of course the most baller move is buying 100% of yourself and then winning the tournament. Double dip!
2) Leo Margets Releases New Book
We believe Leo Margets has a new poker book available in Spain.
¡Juega bien tus cartas! translates roughly into Play your cards well!, which seems straightforward enough.
Margets is a prolific writer and has already released The Queen of Poker and How to Play and Win at Poker in Spain.
Apparently Barney Boatman is learning a lot.

3) PartyPoker Live Debuts in Sochi
Competition is good for everyone and the new John Duthie-headed PartyPoker Live tour looks to add some much needed change to the tournament scene.
That’s why it’s exciting to see the first photos and videos from the company’s latest event in Sochi, Russia.
Looking very sharp, so far.
