In today’s Daily 3-Bet we’ll take a look at Loni Harwood crushing in Florida, the “coolness” of old-school poker and the definitive Las Vegas poker VLOG.
1) Harwood in WSOPC Hunt
Hot take: Loni Harwood is criminally underrated.
In the last few years Lucious_Lon has locked up two WSOP gold bracelets and accumulated over $2m in live tournament earnings.
One of those WSOP wins also came in the hotly-contested WSOP National Championship where she bested a final table that included Daniel Negreanu and Darryll Fish.
Well she’s at it again in the massive 1,117-entry $365 rebuy event at WSOPC Palm Beach Kennel Club festival.
With just four players left Harwood is absolutely crushing the competition with 7.7m chips. Alex Nguyen is in a distant second place with 2.1m while Keith LaBarrie and A.J. Kelsall both have under 10 big blinds.
If Harwood can close it out today she’ll add another $61,000 to her lifetime earnings along with a gold WSOPC ring to go with those bracelets.
2) Negreanu: “Nothing Compares to Ivey, Dwan, Hansen”
Has poker lost its “coolness factor”?
It’s question that Daniel Negreanu was pondering on Twitter over the weekend.
Nothing comparable in poker today in terms of “coolness factor” to watching:

It’s an interesting take and it’s hard to argue against the compelling nature of Gus Hansen, Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey and the like.
Poker has a very different course of entry than in the past and that’s changed the landscape for sure.
That said, there are hundreds of thousands of poker players who appreciate how easy it is to plunk some money into an online account and start playing.
Difficult to say as to whether we’ll ever have another Gus Hansen or Phil Ivey, however.
3) Pete Manzinelli Posts “Definitive Las Vegas Poker Blog”
Speaking of cool poker players… Pete Manzinelli, AKA The Manz, is making his argument in this new VLOG.
Pretty funny stuff. We also may have just hit peak poker VLOG considering we’ve got actual parody videos at this point.
