Daily 3-Bet: Reckful Fizzle, SHR Bowl Sizzle, DNegs Tango

The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a brag-worthy rondé, a textbook drop step and an altogether dazzling syncopation of your slow afternoon poker news Foxtrot.

Have an idea for a future 3-Bet blurb? Let us know about it in the comments below.

Today in the 3-Bet we find a sharp turn on DJ Reckful’s PLO graph, a little sizzle for the Aria Super High Roller Bowl and Daniel Negreanu gets dancing.

1) Easy Come, Easy Go

Remember that $40k PLO heater Hearthstone boss and amateur poker streamer DJ Reckful went on last week? Things didn’t work out so well after that, as you can see below:

easy come easy go i guess. wonder what would have happened if i kept playing offstream

oh well shi happens pic.twitter.com/248aoI9m78

The great game of Pot-Limit Omaha is known to be a swing-y one, even for the game’s best, so despite his early success it was unlikely he would have run it up to truly astronomical heights.

Still would have been cool, though. He can at least take solace in the fact PLO has wrecked the much-bigger bankrolls of much, much more serious players than him over the years. Stay safe out there, PLOers.

He’s still worth a follow/watch if you’re into gaming and/or hoping for another dive into the poker world. Check out his Twitch channel here.

2) Super High Roller Bowl Has Sizzle

It’s still four months away but there’s just something about sweeping orchestral music and the dulcet tones of Ali Nejad and Nick Schulman that make us desperate to watch some high-stakes poker again RIGHT NOW.

Guess we’ll have to make do with rewinding this clip below over and over again to watch Fedor Holz charmingly surprised by exploding confetti. And this sick Phil Galfond fold.

With just 50 spots total and 15 reserved for amateurs/celebs, this year’s $300,000 Aria Super High Roller Bowl is going to be a fun one. It’s also rapidly reaching “must watch” status in the poker world.

Here’s a taste for now; watch it all live on PokerCentral when the time comes on May 28.

3) DNegs Can Tango; Dancing with the Stars Next?

We’ve heard/talked about Daniel Negreanu as the perfect fit for CBS’s Survivor before (even Boston Rob says so), but maybe it’s time to switch the push to Dancing with the Stars.

He’s got the tango down, it seems. Now he just needs some flow-y pants and a pirate shirt and he’s all set.

First attempt at the tango! Ballroom dancing really is fun if you’ve never tried it, give it a go. https://t.co/9YzaUDIeKu
