Got a great Kick out of watching Martin Kaymer stroll to victory in the weekends US open. I had a nice touch out of the result but $$$$ aside I €™m just a huge fan of the guy in general. I €™m not that into football/GAA but it would be a similar pleasure as watching a team you support win something very important.

Picking winners of golf tournaments is a bit like trying to win poker tournaments, they don €™t come alone that often, you need to keep the faith and enjoy it when things fall right. Hopefully some of the Boylepoker blog readers followed the advice in the last blog and nicked a few quid.

It €™s the Irish Open this week and I €™m going to have a few bets. Robert Karlsson showed he is on the way back a couple of weeks ago in Sweden and I think he €™s a decent 50/1 shot. After that I €™m punting Matthew Fitzpatrick for a top 10 finish on his professional debut and Waterford native Kevin Phelan top twenty.

I €™d of probably went to Fota for the golf if there wasn €™t more important happenings going on in Kerry. It should be a fantastic weekend ahead in Killarney for the IPO. Numbers are looking good for the event and with super weather forecast even an early exit from tournament won €™t seem like a disaster.

Boylepoker have upped the Satellite seat guarantee to €œfive € seats every night this week for a ‚¬20 entry. So plenty opportunity to still join us in the kingdom for what promises to be one of the best poker weekends of the year.
