Kid Poker: new Daniel Negreanu documentary set for launch

Look out for the full-length film which is getting released in the first week in August

‘I’m not surprised where I am, I always felt like I was going to be successful whatever it was I did.’ Daniel Negreanu is more than confident in his own abilities, but his success in poker on and off the table is beyond doubt.

Now he’s the subject of a new documentary from PokerStars chronicling his life journey which began when his parents moved to Canada ‘with $5 in their pockets.’ You can watch the official trailer below, which promises high production values, but keep an eye out for the full-length film which is being launched in Toronto on August 1 at a PokerStars bash called Daniel Negreanu’s Summer Party.

With Negreanu’s super-deep run in the Main Event shining even more of a spotlight on him, it’s the perfect time to launch the film for maximum exposure. Don’t be surprised to see a redux version with the dramatic footage from the 2015 Main Event in.
