Day 4 of the PartyPoker Millions is officially underway at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham with Mike Sexton, Andreas Høivold and Stephen Chidwick among the chip leaders.
They’re all chasing a £1,000,000 first-place prize thanks to 1,240 entries that came from PartyPoker’s unique live/online format for the event.
At the time this story was published there were still 150 players in the tournament but that number was dropping fast.
Players have already made it into the money, which started at 253 players remaining and everyone remaining is guaranteed at least £10,000.
£25k SHR Begins with Dvoress, Newey
The PartyPoker Millions is hardly the only tournament running at Dusk Till Dawn as the card room just started a massive £25,000 Super High Roller.
So far Paul Newey, Daniel Dvoress and Joao Simao are among the players who have decided to fire in the event.
More players are expected to join the tournament as late registration is open for the first three hours of play. The tournament will play down to a winner tonight, however, so it could potentially go late.
Earlier in the week former November Niner Vojtech Ruzicka outlasted all entries in the 110 £10,300 high roller to take down £284,210. The final table included noted pros Simao, Tom Hall and Jason Wheeler.
It’s been a strong 12 months for November Niners as Jesse Sylvia and Ryan Riess both took down WPT titles in the last season.
Meanwhile the PartyPoker Millions Main Event is set to conclude with a final table on Sunday, April 23.
