partypoker is launching a new rewards program that should be welcome news to anyone that ever enjoyed rakeback on the site.
On May 22 partypoker will launch the new program with a simplified rewards structure. Players will earn one point for every $1 they contribute in cash game rake or tournament fees.
Once have accumulated a minimum of 25 points they will start to receive cash back into their account on a weekly basis.
The more points a player generates the more cash they will receive in their account every Monday. The rakeback bonus starts at 20% but scales all the way up to 40%.
A Straightforward Solution
Part of the reason partypoker decided to revive rakeback was to simplify rewards for players.
partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters acknowledged the old rewards scheme was needlessly complicated.
“The new scheme was designed in consultation with a large group of players and I hope that we have delivered a rakeback program that will suitably reward our loyal players,” he said.
One player that’s into the change is partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard.
“This is a huge improvement for partypoker which I have been championing for a long time,” he said.
“I made sure that all the feedback I received from the poker playing community was passed on to partypoker to ensure we were given a simple and fair reward system that gives players exactly what we are looking for.”
Loyalty Store Closing, Huge Powerfest Weekend
If you liked the old loyalty store on partypoker you have one last weekend to take advantage of a 10% sale in the store.
The loyalty store will close at midnight on May 21 so players would be wise to spend all their remaining points while they still can. On May 22 the store will no longer be available.
Players still have a chance to purchase discounted tournaments tickets to popular events like the Jab, Contender or Uppercut.
It’s shaping up to be a very busy weekend for players on partypoker as the massive online series Powerfest is set to conclude with three different Main Events.
Each Powerfest Main Event carries a $1m-guaranteed prize pool so there will be some enormous prizes up for grabs. You can check out the complete Powerfest schedule here.
It’s been a busy week for online poker with competitors also running massive online series but partypoker has arguably offered the most value with some large overlays in Powerfest.
