PokerStars All Stars Kicks Off with Cates, OtB_RedBaron on Call

The brand-new PokerStars’ All Stars cash game league is officially live and some of the biggest names of online poker have already registered for the rake-free, pro-focused slugfest.

Dan “w00ki3z” Cates, Trueteller, OtB_RedBaron, king10clubs and Go0se.core! are among the 59 players who have qualified the list for the elite $10/$20 All-Star game.

A handful of players in the All Star league have already logged on but as of noon PT there has been no action.

Meanwhile the $1/$2 Masters division, which features a pool of 145 players, has already begun with several tables running.

The top five biggest winners in the All Stars category will receive up to $20,000 in addition to whatever they win in the games.

The league is entirely invite-only and players’ eligibility is based on their performance on the site over the last 12 months.

PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu will host a weekly highlights show on Twitch to put some of the best All Stars hands on display.

You can already take it some All Stars action, however, by logging onto the PokerStars client. The All-Stars games can be found in the Home Games section of the site.

You can navigate to it by simply clicking the “More” tab in the PokerStars software and then clicking through to the All Star Game and Masters Game.

If you don’t have a PokerStars account you can get one by heading over to our PokerStars review and clicking download.

PokerStars All Stars Season 1 will run from now until May 10 with more seasons to come if players embrace the concept.
